The side dish bowls are called “Mokko Kobachi”.
Mokko shape is said to be auspicious in the shape of a bird's nest and is also a symbol of the prosperity.   KOHAKUJI is a new style of Arita-ware recreated feature of primitive IMARI-ware produced from 1616 to 1650 in Arita, Japan. The porcelain has soft and earthy aspects.
