SHIPPING POLICY

Shipment

In-stock item orders will be shipped from Brooklyn NY. Shipping and Handling charges are determined by the merchandise's total weight and size of your order. The cart will automatically price your shipping costs. For orders shipping to multiple addresses, shipping costs will be applied to each individual shipment. Please note that we do not ship to hotels or P.O. boxes. Unfortunately, we cannot make any special instructions on packages. If you have special instructions or arrangements for your delivery, please contact or speak to your local UPS/USPS delivery person directly. Please note that the shipping calculator may be inaccurate, if this is the case, we will send you a PayPal invoice for the remaining cost. Standard Shipping
 

We offer free standard shipping on any qualifying order of in-stock items with a subtotal of $150.00 or more (that's before taxes and shipping). 

If your order is heavy and requires an extra surcharge on the product or direct ship from Japan, we will notify you.

Most orders arrive within 5-10 business days for in-stock items; please allow up to 14 business days for rural zip codes. You may receive several shipments to complete the fulfillment of your order.
A business day is considered to be Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Please note that we do not ship to hotels or P.O. boxes.

Processing
 

The shipping process will be initiated after we have received payment. usually, we hold your order in 24hour and after that, process your transaction. We usually ship our items (currently in stock) within 3 business days (Mon—Fri). Preorder items will be shipped within 2—5 business days of the release date. We will send you an email notifying you when your order has been shipped. In the event we have an extremely high volume of orders at a time, please note there might be a delay in the shipping process. If the item is out-of-stock, we will notify you of the estimated shipping date via e-mail. 

Undeliverable Shipment/ Resend or Redirect/ Change of Address Request
 

If the address results in undeliverable (including "recipient's unavailable") and the order needs to resend or redirected, the charge of reshipment will be applied (this will apply to free shipping items, too). If a reshipment request and payment for the reshipment charge is not made within 15 days of a package's return to us, we are unable to reship your order or refund your payment.

Delivery Schedule & Tracking
 

Your order is shipped via UPS or USPS Priority Mail/ First Class/ Media Mail depending on the items. You will be informed of the tracking #, so you can track your package directly with the carrier. You can find the average delivery duration directly with the shipping carrier. Please note that we are unable to guarantee any delivery schedule, while we try our best to ship your order as soon as we can. 

Back Order Items
 

You may send a request form for our out-of-stock items and place an order. Backordered items cannot be shipped at the time an order is placed but will ship at a later date. When you place an order for out-of-stock items, we will provide you with an approximate shipping date by email. Please be aware that backorder dates are approximate and subject to change. All back-ordered items ship via USA Standard Delivery or EMS from Japan directly.

Custom Order / Special Order

Custom orders or Special Order items are usually shipped from Japan unless the item has a different shipping policy on the items page. If you have any questions please contact us for details.

Lost/ Misplaced/ Stolen Package or Delay
 

We are not responsible for any lost/ misplaced/ stolen package or delay after the order ships out. Once a package ship out and tracking # is given to a customer, it's the customer's responsibility to track the package. For any issues regarding the shipping, or any instructions regarding the shipment after the order is fulfilled and shipped out, please contact directly with the respective shipping carrier in a timely manner. For a lost package, if a shipping company is unable to locate your package and a claim needs to be filed, please notify us within 14 days of the shipping date. We will file a claim for your lost package. We can send you a replacement with no additional charge only if the claim is accepted and a refund is made in full to us from the carrier.

Holiday Shipping 
 

Please note that during the holidays due to increased volume, delivery dates are subject to the freight carrier's delivery times. So, please kindly note that we are unable to guarantee the delivery date (there is always a possibility of an unexpected delay caused by a carrier). Most orders are shipped via UPS Standard or USPS Priority Mail/ First Class, depending on the size of your order's package(s)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer international shipping for some items and Architectural materials from the USA and Japan. Shipping conditions may vary by location and manufacture, so please contact us for details. Most of our architectural materials are made to order and direct ship from manufactures in Japan.

Depending on the destinations, additional duties and taxes might occur. Any charges which could incur after the package lands in the destination country, including VAT and other duties, must be paid by a recipient. We are not responsible for any processing fee (including customs clearance) or cost which could incur after arriving at destinations. Please contact your local authorities for any specific information including any possible cost after the package lands in the destination country. We are also not responsible for any decisions (including but not limited to holding the package for inspection or confiscation) made at the customs. Please contact your local authorities directly for any customs clearance information. 

We are also not responsible for any lost package, delay, or returning package to us ("sender") for any reasons after the order ships out. We are unable to guarantee any delivery date. For any issues regarding the shipping and delivery, or any instructions regarding the shipment after the order is fulfilled and shipped out, please contact directly with your local carrier/ post office/ authorities. We are unable to accept any return/ exchange/ refund requests for international orders. For any damage/ lost package/ returned package, please note we are unable to cover any cost for replacement product or shipment. We can only send you a replacement (or resend) if the item is in stock and the cost is covered by insurance after filing a claim or by you ("recipient"). Any additional cost for sending a replacement must be covered by the recipient.

Architectural Materials
Our architectural materials are made to order and directly shipped from Manufacture in Japan. We will send you a proposal with the details information and an invoice for your order. Shipping and Handling charges are determined by the merchandise's total weight and size of your order. Please note that Custom orders, Special order, and the order have a different policy on the product page, are considered as a final sale and exempt from our return, exchange or cancellation policy.
Please note that additional duties and taxes might occur depending on items and the destinations. Any charges which could incur after the package lands in the destination country, including custom duties, must be paid by a recipient. Please contact your local authorities directly for any customs clearance information.
