Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact Customer Service. We will take care of it immediately. For more information please refer to the following policy.
Merchandise may be returned as long as the request is made within 2 calendar days after delivery of the product with an original packing invoice. We will issue a Return Authorization number (RA#). The item that is unused with tags and receipt can be returned or exchange.
Notification within 2 calendar days (48 hours) of receipt
We require you to email us within 2 days of receipt to notify us of any return or exchange to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#).
RA# is a confirmation from IPPIN PROJECT STORE that your return /exchange request has been accepted and will be issued to you via email.
Please note that RA# expires after 7 days of the issuing date.
The returned merchandise must be in new, unused, unaltered, and in the original packaging. No returns, refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued without the original packing invoice and RA#.
The item returned must be in its original product packaging in salable condition and mailed in an appropriate size shipping box. The item returned must be sent to us within 7 calendar days from the date your return authorization number is issued.
Special orders or custom orders cannot be returned.
“Custom order” items “Special order” items and "Backorder" are not part of our usual stock and as such it has to be ordered specifically for each order. For this reason, these items are exempted from any returns or exchanges. Rest assured, the Customer will be notified before the order is processed if the item chosen is deemed a “custom order” or “special order” item.
All sale items are considered as a final sale, and Items purchased as “SALE” are not eligible for a return, or exchange without exception, and merchandise is sold as-is. Promotions including coupons and promo codes, cannot be applied to Sale purchases.
Items that have a different return policy in that item’s description cannot be returned.
**Shipping, handling charges, and transaction fees are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.**
There are a 10% restocking fee and cancellation transaction fee which is approximately 2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD by our Merchant Service Provider for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. Again you must contact us within 2 calendar days if you intend to return any item back to our store. Items returned to us without contacting us will not be accepted. We will proceed with your return or exchange after we receive the merchandise from you. Price adjustments on previous purchases are not permitted.
For items being sent to our store, please be sure to ship your item by insured, traceable mail offered by FedEx, USPS, and other carriers. Please include an authorization number and a return form with your address and daytime phone number and email address along with a copy of the invoice, and send to:

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Please note that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping, Restocking Fee, and Transaction fee which is 2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD by our Merchant Service Provider will be deducted from your refund.
We are unable to do exchanges, but we can make a return for a refund (please read the return policy above), and please place a new order for the replacement item.
We only accept returns for exchange or refund as long as requested within 2 calendar days after delivery of the product in case of discrepancies or defective items. Please report any visible damages and discrepancies within 2 days of delivery, to Online Customer Service: firstname.lastname@example.org, and please mention your order confirmation number. Items that are defective or items that you did not order but incorrectly shipped by us will qualify for exchange, store credit, or a cash refund.
Please allow a processing time of two to three weeks for refunds and exchanges from the date we receive the returned merchandise.
Once an order is placed, it may be canceled if your item(s) are not in preparation for shipment or shipped status. you may be able to cancel your entire order by email. However, you may be charged a cancellation transaction fee which is 2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD by our Merchant Service Provider. Unfortunately, we cannot honor cancellation requests made after the item ship out, because we rely on an automated process to provide you our merchandise. Once an order begins the fulfillment process we’re unable to modify it. Please contact our customer service by email for assistance. If your item(s) are already shipped out, we’re unable to modify your order, but you might be able to return them at your expense. Please see if your item is eligible for a return. Please note that Custom orders, Special orders, Backorder, and the order have a different policy on the product page, cannot be canceled.
Back Order Items
You may send a request form for our out-of-stock items and place an order. Backordered items cannot be shipped at the time an order is placed but will ship at a later date. When you place an order for out-of-stock items, we will provide you with an approximate shipping date by email. Please be aware that backorder dates are approximate and subject to change.
If using a Credit Card or PayPal, you will be charged for your back-ordered merchandise at the time of placing an order. Any remaining balance will be charged to your credit card once your merchandise is ready to ship.
The total shipping and handling charges will be allocated proportionally and charged as the merchandise is shipped.
Please note that most of our product is handmade in Japan so all back ordered items are processed as special order thus unable to cancel or return.
All back-ordered items ship via USA Standard Delivery or EMS, UPS, FedEx, DHL from Japan directly.
Custom Order / Special Order
Custom orders begin production immediately upon your order. They cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded at any time after proceeding with payment. A non-refundable deposit or the entire amount of your order will be taken when the order is placed. For more detail, please contact our customer service by email for assistance.
CRAFITS / IPPIN PROJECT reserves the right to deny any return/exchange based on the condition of the merchandise. CRAFITS / IPPIN PROJECT reserve the right to modify its exchange, return policy and cancellation policy
